Salvador Zamora is a recent MFA graduate in sound design, composer, engineer/producer, and dancer. Born and raised in southern California, he holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major from UC San Diego.

Movement sits at the forefront of his design. Salvador is exceedingly captivated by how emotional and physical movement on stage can generate sound, and how sound can generate that same movement. With a passion for his culture and upbringing, Salvador's compositions and dancing are often influenced by hip-hop, reggaeton, Mexican ballads, and classical music. Resampling audio material has always been a staple of his compositions, but he can often be heard playing in his own pieces.

He’s had the pleasure of designing and collaborating with the La Jolla Playhouse, Oye Group, and Antaeus Theatre Company where he won the 2022 Steve “Canyon” Kennedy Award for Best Sound Design for Everybody.
