Amy Higdon is a costume designer currently based in Los Angeles, California. Amy received a B.A. in Theatre from Oklahoma State University and is set to graduate with an M.F.A. in Costume Design from UCLA June 2023. She is also an IATSE costumer with Local 484 in Oklahoma and Texas. Most recently, Amy designed costumes for the feature film Fancy Dance, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Gillian Rose Herold (she/her) is a costume designer and technician originally from Spokane, WA. Although she is a PNW girl at heart, she has now spent the majority of her young adult life in the Midwest. Gillian graduated from The University of Evansville in the fall of 2019 with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with an Emphasis in Costume Design, and graduated May 2023 with an MFA in Costume Design and Technology from The University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her most recent design credits include Where Did We Sit on the Bus? (UMKC Conservatory), A Christmas Carol (KC REP 2021, 2022), Chérubin (UMKC Conservatory), and Jane Eyre (UMKC Conservatory). Gillian will be moving to Chicago at the end of May to pursue opportunities creating and designing costumes.

Katie Miller is a costume designer with a particular interest in sculptural garments and fantastical designs. She holds a M.F.A. from The University of Texas at Austin (2023) and a B.F.A. from the University of Utah (2012). She has designed costumes for a variety of stage productions and independent films, and received a nomination for Best Costume Design at the 2015 Milan International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema for her work on the short film, Moments of Clarity (Blooming Studios). Recent credits at UT include her largest production to date and first-ever opera, Les Contes d’Hoffmann (2023, Butler Opera Center); Murky as Hell (2022), The Horizon and the Offing (a piece in Fall for Dance 2022), and Radiance (2021). She recently explored a material-led approach to designing costumes for her Master’s thesis.

Loren Weldon is a Costume and Fashion Designer taking inspiration from the visual, tactile, and auditory to create immersive experiences.

M.J. Hromek a recent MFA graduate from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville with a focus in Costume Design. M.J. is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and received a BA in Theatre Design and Production from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Design credits include costume design for Hair, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, She Kills Monsters, Anon(ymous), as well as assistant costume design on Trouble in Mind. Nia Safarr Banks is a Costume Designer from Richmond, Virginia. She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and she’s currently working on her Master of Fine Arts at Boston University. She was nominated for two Richmond Critic Award for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design in 2019 and 2022. Her credits include: Passover (American Shakespeare Center), Paradise Blue (Gloucester Stage Company), and August Willson’s The Piano Lesson (Barrymore Theatre, Broadway).

Yuwei Hu is an international costume and fashion designer who envisions garments as occupiable spaces.

Zandra Siple is a freelance costume designer and craft artisan from Michigan. She holds a B.F.A in Design and Technical Theatre Production from Western Michigan University and an M.F.A in Costume Design from The Pennsylvania State University. She has recently won 1st Place in the Design Category and 2nd Place in the EDI Category at the Penn State Graduate Exhibition (2023) for her design of Emilia. She has found the most impactful work in feminist theory productions that help elevate under portrayed characters and profoundly impact the audience.

Previous collegiate credits include the costume designs for Emilia (2023, Penn State Center Stage), Cabaret (2022), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2021), Restoration Comedy (2020, WMU Theatre), Gem of the Ocean (2019), Waiting to be Invited (2018). Zhen Zhen Zhong is a costume, scenic, and video designer and visual artist who incorporates installation, video, image, sound, and theater.

Zoë Trautmann (she/they) recently graduated from UC San Diego with an M.F.A. in Costume Design. She also holds a B.A. in Theatre Design/Tech with an emphasis in costume design from the University of North Texas.

She loves exploring the human condition and storytelling through costume. Her work is detail oriented and character driven. She has a special interest in subverting gendered expectations and giving female and gender queer characters more agency through costume, especially in period pieces. Her perspective as a queer, autistic woman gives her work a unique aesthetic that strives to speak truth to something intangibly familiar to anyone who’s ever felt different.

She is currently costume designer for the world premiere of Sharon written by Keiko Green at Cygnet Theatre, directed by Robby Lutfy (opening June 2023).

Chenoa Alberston (she/her) is a costume technician, designer, maker, and craftsperson. She has a background as a circus performer and instructor, and has performed professionally as a trapeze artist in the UK. She holds a double BA in Studio Art and Norwegian Language from St Olaf College in Minnesota and is about to finish her MFA in costume design from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Chenoa grew up in Northern California and has lived in Minnesota, Vermont, several countries in Europe, and now Western Massachusetts. She is always working with her hands and loves the physical process of creating costumes and props.

Sasha M Nemi Lato (she/her) is a costume technician from Valencia, Spain with a passion for detail. Born in Argentina and having traveled to several countries in recent years, Sasha gathers inspiration from world history, the stories which connect us across different cultures, and the people she encounters in everyday life. In her free time, she enjoys live music, attending theater productions - especially ballet, and frequent phone calls with her mother back in Spain.

Sasha has experience working with a variety of silhouettes and materials. When constructing costumes, Sasha focuses especially on experimentation, functionality and creativity. Her favorite costumes to construct have both historical and contemporary - sometimes even futuristic - elements.


Sasha holds a BFA in Fashion Design from EASD Valencia and is set to get her MFA in Costume Production from Boston University in May 2023. Some of her credits include Shakespeare in Love, Little Women, and If I Were You.

Colin Jeffrey is a non-binary wig, hair and makeup designer based in New York. Colin is a unique person that has an eclectic taste and a masterful skill set. Inspired by the oddities in life, they make it a point to stand out. Colin earned their MFA in Wig, Hair and Makeup design from The University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (2023) and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Connecticut State University (2020). 

Some of Colin’s most recent credits include Cinderella (CCM), Pippin (CCM), Lysistrata & Trojan Women (CCM). Colin also worked at the Santa Fe Opera for the last two summers. Starting as an apprentice(2021) and working their way up to staff(2022), Colin trained under David Zimmerman and was gracious to receive the “Lawrence Reehling Memorial Award” for their excellent work. Colin specializes in wig making, wig/hair styling, and having a keen artistic vision.
