Austin VanWinkle is a young lighting designer who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Equestrian Studies (class of ‘19) from William Woods University in Fulton, MO. While studying the in’s and out’s of horse husbandry, Austin also began his journey into the performing arts by getting involved with any and all productions happening on campus. In 2019, Austin moved to Kansas City to attend UMKC and pursue his Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design. While at UMKC, Austin had the opportunity to study under the late Shane Rowse. Austin has designed mostly for Dance Performance while at UMKC, but he is looking forward to other design opportunities.

Daphne Agosin (she, hers) is a lighting designer finishing her MFA in Stage Design at Northwestern University. She has worked in theater, dance, and urban design. She has designed Water by the Spoonful, Something Rotten [2022], Eurydice [2019], and Danceworks [2019/2022] at the Wirtz Theater Center and Enter Your Sleep [2017], Non-Player Character [2018] and The Conduct of Life [2019] at the Yale Cabaret. She co-designed Intimate Apparel at Northlight Theater [2022] and will debut in Wagon Wheel this August with Smokey Joe. During the 2020 pandemic summer, she co-founded the performance group Grass Studio Theatre with Hamid Dehghani and students of NU. Originally from Santiago, Chile, she received a BArch in Architecture. She is the recipient of the John Williams Memorial Lighting Designer Award.

Harrison (Harry) Foster is a multimedia artist who focuses on lighting design, special effects, and motion graphics. Having finished his third and final year of graduate school at UC San Diego, he has relocated to Los Angeles to pursue creative ambitions in whatever form they may come, starting with a junior lighting designer position with the architectural firm Lightswitch. 


Recent credits include Sotoba Komachi (UCSD, Lighting Designer), The Enigmatist (Geffen Playhouse, Associate Video Designer), EJI Legacy Museum (Lighting Design Assistant), What Does a Landscape Say? (UCSD, Lighting Designer), and The Velveteen Rabbit (UCSD, Animation).

Ron Collins (Lighting Designer) From Nashville, TN, Ron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre at Middle Tennessee State University. He worked as an Associate Producer for Abel, McCallister, & Abel in Nashville, TN. He graduates from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2022 with his MFA. While in Graduate School, Ron served as the Technical Director for the 2021 Cohen New Works Festival held virtually. His MFA thesis project is an investigation in community and performance of LGBTQ nightlife by telling a story through installation. SELENA GONZALEZ-LOPEZ I   University of Missouri - Kansas City

Selena Gonzalez-Lopez is a Mexican-American Lighting Designer born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and is a first generation student in her family.   In 2021,  Selena graduated from The University of Missouri-Kansas City with her M.F.A in Lighting, Scenic, and Projection design.


Throughout her time in Kansas City, Selena has worked professionally with The Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Musical Theatre Heritage, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company, The Coterie Theatre, Fish Tank Theatre, and The Kansas City Actors Theatre. She is currently the lighting supervisor/assistant lighting designer at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City for their 2021-2022 season. In March, Selena was selected as the 2022-2023 Hemsley Lighting Intern and is extremely excited to be working with the San Francisco Opera, New York City Ballet, and Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre.

Zoe Spangler (She/Her) is a lighting designer based in Kansas City, Missouri where she attends the University of Missouri - Kansas City–anticipated graduation in May 2022. In May 2018, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Applied Critical Thought and Inquiry from William Jewell College. During her time in professional design, she has had the privilege of working on many different kinds of projects, including theatre, opera, and dance. Most recently, she designed lighting for Tempe Ostergren on her original dance piece, Interpretations. When she is not designing, Spangler enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
