Joshua Legate was raised in Kalispell, Montana. After graduating with his Bachelors of Arts in Drama from The University of Montana, Joshua moved to New York to begin work on his Masters of Arts in Lighting Design and Technical Production. He worked as a technician with The Castleton Opera Festival, and The Galumpha Dance Company as Production Manager and Lighting Designer.

After receiving his Masters, Joshua moved to Washington state where he became The Light Shop Supervisor and Adjunct Lecturer at Central Washington University. In the summer of 2017, Joshua participated as a guest lecturer on lighting technology at The Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Nanjing, China.  

Currently, Joshua is working on his MFA with a focus in Lighting, projection, and Scenic Design at The University of Washington School of Drama.

When he is not busy putting up a show, Joshua can usually be found exploring the country with his dog.

Kathleen Fox is an interdisciplinary artist and multimedia designer who works in video design for live performance, VR, AR, game design, animation, and architectural projection. Her work explores empathy, grief, loneliness, memory in the digital age, and the importance of physicality and presence in virtual spaces.

Kathleen has worked on and off-Broadway with the Richard Frankel Group, Audible, and most recently the HERE Art Center. Theatre credits include Cries and Whispers (Center for New Performance), King Lear (Walt Disney Modular Theatre), unCovered (Sharon Lund Theatre), and Bridges (Roy O. Disney Concert Hall).

Kathleen received her MFA in Integrated and Interactive Media for Performance at the California Institute of the Arts.

Logan Smith is a digital media artist and designer recently completed his M.F.A. in Theater with a concentration in Integrated Media. His work has a whimsical, explorative nature that analyzes the world around him, remixes it and expands the storytelling of a production. Over the past year, he has been able to call on his experience in both live television and theater to discover new ways to tell stories beyond a 16:9 rectangle. He believes that when we can utilize all of the world around us, the amazing technologies that others have built, and use those technologies to create impactful storytelling, we can create real meaning beyond a novelty. Recent credits include Spring Awakening, Wyeth Airlines Flight Thirteen, NHKS 4220, (Re)Current Unrest, Not Omaha, and much more.

Michael Bruner is an interactive media designer and developer and recently completed a M.F.A. in the UT Live Design program. His work explores how design and technology can be integrated into diverse environments to enable affective sensory experiences that create community. With a background in computer animation and game development, his work often utilizes real time rendering and interactivity to enrich live experiences. Recent performance credits include (Re)Current Unrest, K ! :D D: Ö and NHKS4220, in addition to a range of ongoing collaborations.

Mingxiang Ya recently completed a M.F.A. (Integrated Media) at University of Texas at Austin. He comes from China and earned his BA in Digital Media Arts from Shanghai Theatre Academy. He is passionate about visual storytelling and explores the fine arts with digital technology. Work credits include The Power of Adversity, Matawan, a place called the middle, Flora Circular, A Riot of Spring and more.
